Who is Tiny Tim?
This charming, sweet, orange tabby boy, is the youngest of our four fur babies. His life started out precariously. Friends of a friend had gone camping in Oregon and heard a kitten mewing in the brush–and a pack of coyotes howling nearby in the dark. The next morning, they found the little guy and drove him to Bellingham, WA to our friend’s house. We had just adopted a cat from the Whatcom Humane Society, who just happened to be an orange tabby, too, and our friend brought the baby over to visit:
How could we do anything but adore this little foundling on first sight?
He’s being held by a nine year old here, so his name, Tiny Tim, was very apt.
Timmy was about 8 weeks old and Boo was probably 7 months old. They were a study in contrasts.
Due to circumstances beyond Tim’s control, he was banished from his new home on weekdays. Our home became his daycare, and within a few days, we gladly accepted him into our home forever.
Oh, the joy of having a kitten in the house, ready to play, explore, and find his inner purr! Here he is during the next three months:
We gladly purchased oodles of cat toys for all the fur babies, but Timmy seemed to enjoy them the most.
And then, as the days grew a little longer, we introduced Timmy to the garden!
